3. Bruenian Youths on Social Accessibility of Internet
The BYSAI Initiative is a collective of young people from Brunei Darussalam who advocate for the right for internet accessibility on official Brunei forums as part of digitalization. The participants will congregate in person or electronically to encourage youths to engage in an open and transparent dialogue with corporations and communities, while demonstrating their ambition and social action in addressing internet accessibility during the workshop.
4. Human Rights Camp
The Human Rights Camp is a two-day, one-night event with a workshop session prior to the event that aims to gather 20 advocates aged 15-25 from Laos. Real-life examples aligned to the topics will be incorporated into various activities inside the camp. This serves as an opportunity for participants to increase their understanding about the subject matter, insinuate self-knowledge and cautiousness, as well as to encourage action conveying relevant concerns. Through our project, we aim to be a platform where advocates can learn more about human rights education and yearn for the act of change for a safer and more secure future. With that being said, our objective is to raise awareness against any form of violence causing negative impacts and promote peace to everybody for a better opportunity to live herein peacefully.
5. Human Library Project
The Human Library is a simulation of a classical library in which the readers can come, borrow and interactively learn from a book made of real human experience. It will be a weekly online-based activity aiming to create an interactive learning experience from in-depth experience sharing of volunteers. The library aims to give readers a first-hand, direct experience on subjects of their interest whereby our AYAN Thailand team acts as a "librarian" in providing online interactive books and uses the “storytelling’ method.
